Summer is here and exams are almost over, so It's time to shake out your feet at Coolaboola Event's latest installment of Indie-vidual featuring:
The Blizzards Signed to a major label at the beginning of this year, these guys from Mullingar have already wowed crowds at Oxegen, V festivals across England and The Faction '01 tour. With a self-released top 20 single & their recent No 6 hit TROUBLE already under their belt, one can only assume that to play a Coolaboola gig would be the obvious next step www.theblizzards.ie
Delorentos Last years winners of the British National Student Music funded the recently released ep Leave it On. Their latest single 'The Rules' went to number 14 in the Irish charts in its first week. Catch them at their only specific all-ages gig this summer at Indie-vidual www.delorentos.net
Loose Change This young band from Cork recently played their first gig at Blast in May, however they have been playing together since 2004. They have been featured on Stevie G's "Teenage Thursdays" on Red FM and their mix of rock and twisted sense of humour seems to be attracting a lot of interest amonst the young indie-viduals of Cork. www.loosechangemusic.4t.com (check out the band bio's for examples of twisted sense of humour)!
